1,502 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Saturday

Of the 12,870 active cases, 219 are receiving treatment and 114 in critical condition

Bahrain yesterday recorded 1,502 new cases of Covid-19 and 1,321 recoveries.

Four people died yesterday, taking the death toll to 678.

It included two Bahraini men, 92 and 62, a Bahraini woman, 56, and an expat man, 34.

Of the new cases, 560 were expat workers, 909 contacts of local cases and 33 travel-related.

Of the 12,870 active cases, 219 are receiving treatment and 114 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 187,905 cases. The kingdom has conducted 4,222,173 virus tests.
