His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has approved a new policy to prevent domestic violence.

Sheikh Mohammed said that authorities will not tolerate any abuse against children or senior citizens, emphasizing that the cabinet has approved new methods to protect families and prevent any type of domestic violence.

Additionally, Sheikh Mohammed said on Twitter that the Cabinet has approved a new regulation for volunteering. During the cabinet meeting today, a restructuring decision for the board of Emirates Post was approved. Many other international agreements were signed.

Sheikh Mohammed said that the cabinet has also welcomed the signing of the Riyadh Agreement between government of Yemen and the Southern Transitional Council.
