Muscat: The Royal Oman Police represented by Al Wusta Governorate Police Command has carried out an inspection for illegal expat workers in the governorate.
Few expats were arrested for violating the Labour Law.
A statement issued online by ROP said : “ Al Wusta Governorate Police Command, with the support of the Special Tasks Police, carried out an inspection for illegal expat workers, where a number of expatriates of Asian nationality were arrested on charges of violating the labour and residence laws of expatriates .”
“The legal procedures against them are being completed.” The statement added
