ZURICH- Swiss prosecutors have indicated three leading members of a Muslim group for their alleged role in making and distributing propaganda films for banned Islamist group Al-Qaeda, the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) said on Thursday.

The case targets three committee members of the Islamic Central Council of Switzerland (ICCS) who were not identified by name in a statement by prosecutors.

"The OAG alleges that the accused offered the leading al-Qaeda member in question a prominent multilingual multimedia platform from which to advantageously portray and promote both himself and the ideology of al-Qaeda, the terrorist organisation he represents," the statement said.
