A major telecom company has signed an agreement with one of the leading charities in Bahrain to support more than 100 families in the kingdom.

The four-year, BD100,000 partnership between stc Bahrain and Husn Al Jawar is part of the company’s commitment to support widows, families with low income, people with medical conditions and students in need of educational aid.

“stc Bahrain is well recognised for its charitable initiatives and its philanthropic contributions to organisations and causes that provide financial, educational and welfare support for children and women in need,” said stc Bahrain chief executive Nezar Banabeela.

“We’re delighted to go further and partner with Husn Al Jawar to help them aid families and make a difference by providing them with better lives.”

Over the years, stc Bahrain has worked with various charities such as Al Sanabel Orphan Care Society, Discover Islam and the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, while also helping raise awareness on issues such as autism and the environment.
