RABAT- Morocco's consumer price inflation slowed to 0.9% year-on-year in April compared to 1.5% in March, the high commission for planning said on Wednesday.

Food prices rose 2.7% while non-food prices dropped 0.3%.

On a month-on-month basis, the index rose 0.1%.

Core inflation, which excludes prices of volatile goods, was 0.1% month-on-month and 0.9% year-on-year.
