AMMAN — Agriculture Minister Saleh Kharabsheh on Saturday participated in an International Fund for Agricultural Development videoconference aimed at discussing and exchanging expertise related to action plans to deal with COVID-19, mainly in rural areas.

Kharabsheh said that the government’s measures to mitigate the impact of the pandemic have had a “big impact” in curbing the spread of the disease, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The event, which saw the participation of agriculture ministers from the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Central Asia, also covered national food security.
