Bahrain King orders revamp of central bank board

The board members are being appointed for a renewable four-year term effective from the date of its issuance

  
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today (May 5) issued Decree 21/2020 ordering the restructuring of the Central Bank of Bahrain's (CBB) board.
 
Under Article One, the board comprises Hassan Khalifa Al Jalahma as the chairman along with Rasheed Mohamad Al Maraj, Yousef Abdullah Humoud, Khaled Ibrahim Humaidan, Youssef Abdulhussain Khalaf, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, and Ahmed Mohamed Buhejji as members, reported BNA.
 
As per the decree, the board members are being appointed for a renewable four-year term effective from the date of its issuance, it added.
