Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, has appointed Najah Al Sulaiman as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kuwait branch. Najah is a seasoned banker with 25 years of experience in the field of corporate banking. She joined Bank Muscat's Kuwait branch in 2014 as Head of Corporate Banking and led the team to expand corporate business as part of the bank's strategic plan to sustain its position in the region.

Najah brings a wealth of experience to the role which includes stints with leading banking and financial institutions in Kuwait. Prior to joining Bank Muscat, she occupied the position of Assistant General Manager of Corporate Banking in Burgan Bank. As part of its leadership strategy, Bank Muscat aims to attract and develop Kuwaiti talent to strengthen its operations in Kuwait. 

Najah takes over from Osamah Al Abdullatif, former CEO - Kuwait Branch, who has returned to Bank Muscat Head Office in the Sultanate to assume a senior Management role.

Bank Muscat commenced Kuwait branch operations in April 2010, becoming the first bank from Oman to open a commercial banking branch in Kuwait. With the focus to support investment and trade flows between Kuwait and Oman, Bank Muscat's Kuwait branch offers a comprehensive range of corporate banking, trade and treasury services.

Outside of Oman, Bank Muscat has a branch each in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, as well as Representative Offices in the UAE and Singapore. Muscat Capital LLC is a brokerage and investment banking subsidiary of the bank in Saudi Arabia.
