MANAMA: Air Arabia has applied for a fourth flight to Bahrain, the airline’s chief executive Adil Al Ali told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.

“Air Arabia is running three flights a day to Bahrain. The planes are almost always full. We are awaiting the approval of the authorities concerned in Bahrain (for the third flight),” Mr Al Ali said.

“The travel and tourism sector is growing, not shrinking. It is growing worldwide at an average rate of seven per cent a year since the recession in 2008. Air Arabia was named the Best Low-cost Airline in the Middle East for its timeliness, high-quality services and competitive price.”
