Riyadh –  The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) on Thursday signed a SAR 292 million loan contract with Aasia Steel Factory Company to set up a non-corrosive pipe plant.

The factory will locate in Jubail Industrial City, the state-owned fund said on Twitter.

This plant is a part of the kingdom’s plan to support domestic industries and in line with Saudi Arabia National Industrial Development and Logistics Programme (NIDLP), it added.

The SIDF announced previously that it would start financing the logistic services sector on 13 February.
