UAE-based Reportage Properties said work is progressing at a steady pace on The Gate, a key residential development coming up at Masdar City in Abu Dhabi, featuring 463 apartments, including 200 studios, 144 one-, 94 two-, seven three- and two four-bedroom apartments, in addition to 16 townhouses.

With nearly 20% of the construction works completed, the 8-floor tower is expected to be fully completed by the fourth quarter of 2022.

CEO Islam Ahmed Suleiman said the company was satisfied with the progress being made on construction works at all its projects as per the specified schedule.

"We are committed to handing over all the units in every project on time, in order to enhance investor's confidence in Reportage Properties projects, and support the performance of the real estate sector in the UAE during this exceptional times caused by the Covid-19," he stated.

Suleiman said that the real estate market in Abu Dhabi provides ideal opportunities for investors, especially in light of the availability of units at competitive prices, with easy payment plans.

The company offered sales of the units at The Gate at the beginning of this year, where about 50% of the units have been sold so far, he added.

The Gate, which has a construction area of 528,000 sq ft, boasts all key services and amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, children's play area, reception area and car-park.

The studio unit space ranges between 330 and 498 sq ft, the one-room ranges from 592 to 700 sq ft, the two-room range from 922 to 1965 sq ft, the three-room unit is 1771 sq ft, and the four-room is 2885 to 3162 sq ft, while the townhouse areas reach up to 3290 sq ft, with a private garden.

The prices of studios in The Gate start from AED506,000 ($137,739) onwards and go up to AED570,000, while a one-room unit is in the AED680,000 to 810,000 range; two-room in AED970,000 to AED1.1 million range and three-room in AED1 million to 1.42 million.

The four-room apartment has been priced at AED1.6 million onwards, while townhouses costs AED1.8 million.

The Abu Dhabi developer has announced a special offer for buyers of its key Abu Dhabi and Dubai projects which includes exemption from service fees for 10 years on all its projects.

Under this scheme, the company is also offering a 10% payment choice as a down payment, and a payment plan of 1% of the total cost monthly, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
