In May 2020, Zawya had reported that 70 percent of the project had been completed.

Emaar Malls reported a net profit of 622 million UAE dirhams ($169 million) during the first six months of 2021, compared to a net profit of 345 million dirhams ($94 million), during the same period in 2020.
