Cairo – Mubasher: Banks in Egypt have issued 4 million of Meeza cards so far, the assistant sub governor at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Ehab Nasr, said.

The CBE has issued Law No. 18 of 2019 regulating the use of cashless payments and the executive regulations will be issued next month, Nasr added during Ahram Economic Conference on Sunday.

Nasr noted that Egypt plans to increase financial inclusion rate to 100% in the coming period from the current 33%.
