KYIV  - Egypt and China became the major importers of Ukrainian grain in the 2019/20 season with a combined volume of 13.3 million tonnes, Ukrainian shipping company Stark Shipping said on Wednesday.

Egypt imported 7.086 million tonnes of Ukrainian grain while China imported 6.204 million tonnes, the company said in a research note.

Ukraine exported 56.5 million tonnes of grain in the 2019/20 season, shipping it to 58 countries. Corn dominated the exports with a share of 49.4%.
