Bahrain's RERA digital drive outlined

Real estate registration, transfer of ownership and mortgages are processed electronically using advanced procedures that are updated regularly, Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera) chief executive and Land Registration director general Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has said.

People aren’t required to personally report to the Registration Bureau offices, he said as he held an online meeting with bank chiefs to brief them on electronic procedures used in land registration and mortgage.

The meeting followed directives from Survey and Land Registration Bureau president and Rera chairman Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
