Worley, an Australia-based leading global engineering company which provides project delivery and consulting services, has been awarded a maintenance and integrity contract for services to support Petroleum Development Omans (PDO) strategic oil and gas production assets in the South Oman concession region.

PDO has selected Worley to work with Arabian Industries Projects LLC to provide the maintenance and integrity services, Worley said on Monday in a disclosure filed to the Australian Stock Exchange where the company is listed.

Under the contract, Worley will provide long-term sustaining capital works services such as engineering, project work, field change proposals, process safety management, maintenance and integrity, demolition, shutdown work and digital enhancements.

As per the companys disclosure, the term of the new PDO contract is seven years with an option to extend for three years. The services will be executed by Worleys team in Oman. However, the company did not disclose the value of the contract.
