Abu Dhabi's billion-dirham waterfront social dining and entertainment destination, Al Qana, is developing a new riviera-style marina, that will rejuvenate this area of the capital and on its launch will become ‘the place to be’ for those wanting to dine, socialise or sail off into the sunset.

The super chic and exquisite venue, Al Qana Marina will feature mouth-watering seafood restaurants, cafes and marine services.

One of the most anticipated touristic landmarks in the capital, Al Qana is the first-ever Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model implemented by the Abu Dhabi Municipality and is jointly developed by Al Barakah International Investment.

International Construction Contracting Company (ICCC) is the lead contractor in charge of the development of the project.

Featuring seven anchor destinations spanning over 2.4 km of scenic and picturesque waterfront walkways, Al Qana offers residents and visitors a unique collection of attractions with leisure facilities from waterside eateries, the largest standalone cinema in Abu Dhabi, the Middle East’s largest aquarium, first-of-its-kind lifestyle hub including wellness facilities, first to the UAE VR zone, E-Sports arena, standalone exciting kids’ zone, and innovative landscaped community spaces.

Al Barakah International Investment Fouad Mashal said: "The Al Qana Marina is a fitting addition to the full-service waterfront entertainment and dining destination. The prime location of the project is adjacent to neighbouring five-star hotels making it accessible for both residents and tourists."

"Boat owners can sign up for a membership scheme in the iconic-looking marina and choose one of its 105 spectacular boat berths that can accommodate yachts up to 65 feet," he explained.

The amenities of Al Qana’s Marina include 24-hour security, vessel monitoring, emergency response equipment, highly equipped professionals, as well as an extensive range of marine services and facilities, said Mashal.

"Abu Dhabi is a city full of remarkable sites enchanted by warmth and extravagance. Modelling the lush ambiance of the UAE, Al Qana is set to be Abu Dhabi’s premier waterfront destination in 2021," he added.

Marina Manager Andrew Savill said: "Al Qana’s Marina will present a sophisticated, modern and elegant experience for yacht owners and families to eat, drink and soak up the sun with a spectacular view of Abu Dhabi’s iconic skyline."

"The destination is super chic and will be frequented by individuals and families," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
