DUBAI - The 19h edition of Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition – Dubai Derma, concluded today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, DICEC.

Running under the theme ‘Skin Health is our Concern’, the annual global skincare gathering in Dubai, brought together leading skincare specialists, top surgeons and physicians from across various countries under one roof to explore the latest technology advancements and medical treatments for different types of skin diseases.

On the sidelines of the conference and exhibition, the scientific committee also announced the recommendations for the 19th edition.

Commenting at the conclusion of Dubai Derma 2019, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman, Dubai Derma, said, "I am delighted to announce that the 19th edition of Dubai Derma has concluded on a successful note, with over AED500 million worth of business deals signed over the past three days. This year, Dubai Derma Conference and Exhibition featured a rich comprehensive agenda, addressing the most significant topics in skin care and attracting over 16,500 visitors and participants from over 104 countries while also witnessing the attendance of 291 world renowned speakers, skincare specialists, surgeons and doctors. The exhibition this year has recorded a great success also by attracting 594 skincare brands from across the globe." "I take this opportunity to thank our key stakeholders in the government and private sectors, and presidents of the world’s leading dermatology associations, exhibitors and speakers for their invaluable support in making Dubai Derma a grand success. Running parallel to the conference, the exhibition offered visitors and participants a great platform to learn about the new technologies in skincare that are useful in diagnosing and treating many serious skin diseases while also offering exhibitors a unique opportunity to interact closely with industry partners, visitors and experts in skin health.

The event held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Health Authority in cooperation with the Pan Arab League of Dermatology, Arab Academy of Dermatology and Aesthetics, AADA, American Academy of Dermatology, AAD, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EADV, and GCC League of Dermatologists and supported by Government of Dubai and Dubai Health Authority, DHA.
