Greece's jobless rate stood at 10.2% in March, down from an downwardly revised 10.8% in February, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Thursday.

Seasonally adjusted data showed 492,867 people were officially unemployed.

Unemployment impacted women more than men, at the rates of 13.8% and 7.2%, respectively.

The jobless rate for young people aged 15 to 24 years dropped to 21.1% in March from 24.8% in the same month in 2023, ELSTAT said. (Reporting by Antonis Pothitos in Gdansk)
