Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has praised the solid fraternal relations between Bahrain and Egypt, led by His Majesty King Hamad and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

He stressed the commitment of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support bilateral relations and expand joint co-operation.

This came as he received the Egyptian Minister of Planning and Economic Development and Egypt’s Sovereign Fund chairperson Dr Hala Helmy El Said, currently on a visit to Bahrain.

The meeting was attended by Sustainable Development Minister Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Economic Development Board (EDB) chief executive Khalid Humaidan, Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Shaaban, and Egypt’s Sovereignty Fund executive director Aymen Mohammed Suleiman.
