Thailand's employment in the third quarter rose 1.3% from a year earlier, after a 1.7% increase in the previous quarter, the state planning agency said on Monday, as economic growth slowed.

The jobless rate was at 0.99% in the July-September period versus 1.06% in April-June, the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) said in a statement.
