Arab Finance: Elsewedy Electric (SWDY) announced that its subsidiary EL SEWEDY Cables Qatar, 73.4% owned by Senyar Industries Qatar Holding, has received a Letter of Award from Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) for a $328 million project, according to a statement filed to the EGX on Wednesday.

The company has been awarded the installation of new Extra High Voltage/High Voltage Cables (EHV/HV) underground, as well as various voltage levels ranging from 132kV to 66kV and modifications to the current circuits MW.
