SLS Hotels & Residences announced on Thursday that its SLS Red Sea hotel, located within The Red Sea Project in Saudi Arabia, will open its doors in the first quarter of 2023.
 
SLS, acquired by Accor in December 2020, is now part of Ennismore, joint-venture between France's Accor and London-based Ennismore.
 
SLS said in a statement that the single storey accommodation comprises of 150 hotel rooms including 12 suites and 15 villas, spanning an area of 800,000 square feet.
 
SLS Red Sea is one of the 11 hotels planned for the Coral Bloom resort, designed by British architecture firm Foster + Partners,  on the island of Shurayrah, which is the hub island of The Red Sea Project.
 
The statement noted that interior Design is being handled by Milan and New York based Lissoni + Partners.
 
In April, SLS had announced the launch of its first hotel in the Middle East with SLS Dubai resort and Residences.
