Dubai-based Samana Developers broke ground on its 100-million UAE dirham ($27 million) Samana Golf Avenue residential project at Dubai Studio City, the company announced on Tuesday.
The four-storey project spanning over 210,000 square feet will house 233 apartments, the developer said in a press statement.
The developer also appointed local company Prestige Constructions as the main contractor for the project, the statement said.
It said that the wellness-themed project has been designed by AREC Engineering Consultants and aims to contribute to Dubai 2040 New Urban Masterplan, which focuses on health, sustainability and enhanced quality of life.
Imran Farooq, CEO, Samana Developers, said the project has been designed keeping in mind the wellbeing and fitness of the residents.

"The pandemic has taught us to focus on humans rather than material things. Our end-user-focused approach reflects in our top ranking in sales of our two projects in Arjan,” he said.
The company has set a target of completing the superstructure of the project in just 240 days, the press statement said.
The project is scheduled for completion in December 2022.
In February 2021, Samana started the handover of its 75-million-dirham ($20 million) Samana Greens residential project in Arjan.
