Inaugural ranking is testament to Zain's policy of equal opportunity and focused investment in career development
Kuwait & Dubai - 30 September 2012: Zain Group, the pioneer in mobile telecommunications in eight markets across the Middle East and North Africa, is proud to announce that eleven of its female executives were ranked in the inaugural CommsMEA list of Top 50 female telecommunications professionals across the region. Zain achieved the highest number of females from all telecom operators on the list.
Dubai based CommsMEA, one of the region's leading telecommunications magazines, which ranked the nominees, stated the power list, "includes those women who have shown the greatest level of innovation in tackling the challenges they face and ensuring their companies survive and thrive. So while financials are important, we have also taken into account factors including originality of ideas, rate of growth, and the challenges faced in different markets."
