Amman-Jordan, 03 June 2007: Zad's Catering Division, part of Zad Industries and Services, and Jordan's largest industrial food caterer, has announced the signing of an agreement with International Tobacco and Cigarettes Company (ITC), and the commencement of services outlined in the agreement.

Upon this agreement, Zad will become the sole partner of ITC, providing the regional leading tobacco manufacturer with supreme catering services. "Zad's core competency is embodied in its flexibility. Our ultimate mission relies on exceeding customer satisfaction by providing quality food for their multicultural staff; and as a happy employee is a productive one, our services will ultimately support our clients in meeting their business goals through enhanced productivity that should automatically result in increased profitability," said Rodney Woolliscroft, General Manager, Zad.

Zad's services, demonstrated in the agreement with ITC, will include providing hot meals twice a day, for lunch and dinner; covering two different shifts, where meals are delivered with optimum consistency in delivery time, taste, and hygiene.

"We realized that in order to maintain the high standards and the premium quality products ITC offers to the local and export markets, we needed to uphold a dynamic and productive staff. Zad's services will be a benefit we offer to our employees, which will therefore sustain and increase the efficiency and productivity levels at ITC. Additionally, this agreement will not only reduce the hassle and administrative burden we take on when providing meals to our employees on a daily basis, but will also cut down the

expense of providing food services from an internal resource," said Samer Fahkoury, General Manager, ITC.

"In the past, ITC had an in-house capability, and for various reasons they are now contracting with us as a resource. We have a challenge which we are confident we can meet to provide a high quality nutritious alternative," added Woolliscroft

"We are confident in the technology we have utilized and in our trained staff, that combined with our competitive rates gives us an edge in the market, and contributes to achieving our core objective which is exceeding customer satisfaction," said Abdelhaleem Humood, Zad's Marketing and Customer Relations Manager.

"Since our inception in 1992 we have maintained an outstanding growth record, and constant pursuit of excellence, and since food is not our specialty, we have signed this agreement with Zad in order to achieve a winning combination of a skilled and a productive team." concluded Fakhoury.

Zad's catering division is the largest Jordanian company to provide multinational hot and cold meals including Arabic, Indian, Sri Lankan, and Chinese meals - within different menus at competitive rates for a wide range of tastes and budgets - prepared by 220 of our staff together with multinational chefs who work in accordance with international standards including ISO quality assurance and HACCP food safety procedures.
