Volkswagen Middle East took to the streets of Dubai on the weekend to bring its cars to the public, showcase its broad range of models available.
Led by a Volkswagen T1 campervan built in 1965 driven by Jens Jacob, who is currently in Dubai on a stopover on his driving tour of the world, around 20 Volkswagen cars drove in convoy from Dubai Airport Freezone to the Jumeirah Beach Walk showing how Volkswagen has a model to suit everyone - Volkswagen is the people's car.
At the speed of 60 km/h, the motley caravan made both drivers on Sheikh Zayed Road, as well as pedestrians on Jumeirah Beach Walk turn their heads in surprise and take a snapshot.
