Acer Projectors Provide an Effective Decision Making Tool, Say Acer Executives

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Boardroom decision makers increasingly rely on visual presentation to help make critical business decisions, say industry leaders.

Acer Computer, Europe Middle East and Africa's (EMEA) number one PC vendor and third globally, today presents its new professional range of video projectors. High display performance and an excellent price-performance ratio are just some of the key features of Acer's P5270 video projector.

"Projectors bring to life visuals that could potentially influence critical boardroom decisions," says Sanjeev Dua, Product Marketing Manager, Monitors and Projectors. "Acer products are ergonomically designed to adapt and accommodate the corporate environment they serve.  We strongly believe in empowering the end user and our products reflect Acer's winning mentality."

"Ease-of-use, portability and versatility make the projector a firm favourite in a very competitive market," adds Dua.

All Acer projectors offer an exceptional viewing performance that enhances any kind of content in any environment. The entire range is based on DLP, a technology that offers enhanced contrast, sharpness and image vividness.

Acer's P5720 is equipped with Acer ColorBoost Technology - Acer's innovative, proprietary colour enhancement technology for DLP projectors. ColorBoost provides optimized colour performance to deliver vivid and life-like pastel images by combining a fully new 6 Colour-wheel design, a powerful image processing algorithm and the advanced Lamp Illumination technology, Colorboost delivers an entirely new level of colour performance with brilliant colours and high contrast ratio.

To improve ease-of-use, Acer has equipped its projector range with Empowering Technology, a software suite that includes the following modules:

  • Acer eView Management > adjusts your projector settings to suit any lighting environment and any type of content. Acer eView Management features the innovative Blackboard Mode, a utility that allows users to instantly project onto a traditional green chalkboard, without the need to set up a separate white screen.
  • Acer eTimer Management > provides an onscreen visual cue to help keep presentations on schedule.
  • Acer eOpening Management > provides a simple way to create a customized start-up screen.
  • Acer eProjection Management > helps users easily connect to and control Acer projectors that feature an integrated Wireless Presentation Gateway.

In addition:

Acer Top-Loading Lamp design offers the easiest maintenance. Since the lamp module is top-loaded, user can easily replace this lamp module without detaching the projector if mounted on the ceiling.

Acer InstantPack technology benefits the user who is in a hurry to leave. The power cord can be unplugged right after the projector is turned off, without any resulting damage. There's no need to wait for a cooling period; the user can pack the projector and leave immediately.

Acer SmartFormat technology is a multi-format support system enabling instant projection regardless of output display resolution.

  • The Acer P5270 features a comprehensive range of connectors including audio and D-sub plus DVI-D e HDMI for easy connection to PC's, notebooks, DVD or games consoles. As both digital ports are HDCP compliant, users will be able to watch HDCP protected high-definition content.
