Dubai, UAE: The progress of Cityland Mall, the 2.2 million sq. ft retail and entertainment scheme being developed by Cityland Real Estate Development off the 311 Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road, continues apace with Vindico on board to deliver the retail element.

Vindico is the world’s leading international retail delivery consultancy and now that the construction process of the entire mall is in the advanced stages of completion, it will be responsible for coordinating the mall tenants’ fit-out works and ensuring that their opening remains on time. 

The AED 1.2 billion Cityland Mall is the world’s first “nature inspired” shopping destination, incorporating a 200,000 sq. ft green central park area.  Its retail capacity totals over 1.2 million sq. ft of space accommodating over 350 retailers and F&B outlets. The major anchor tenant, Carrefour hypermarket, a part of Majid Al Futtaim Retail, will open its door before the end of the year. Cityland Mall also boasts a variety of entertainment and retail global brands including VOX Cinemas, Fabyland and the Scandinavian home furnishing brand JYSK among others.

Vindico was chosen by developer, Cityland due to its vast experience in delivering retail for some of the world’s largest and most high profile schemes including Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi; Festival City, Dubai and Mall of Qatar, Doha.  In all, the organization has assisted with the delivery of 65 shopping centres and airport projects, and over 9,000 shops and restaurants.
