UniChem Limited, a Qatar-based provider of industrial chemicals, instrumentation supply & services is pleased to announce the official launch of its Ferric Chloride Plant. A dedicated half-day event was organized for this announcement at the InterContinental Doha The City Hotel on 4th May 2015.
UniChem Limited is an efficient regional firm providing industrial chemicals, analytical analysers, related technical assistance and consulting services in Qatar and Middle East to organizations like major oil & gas companies, petrochemicals companies, chemicals and detergents manufacturers, food processing companies, universities and research institutes, governmental agencies, environmental testing organizations, treatment and desalination plants.
The top management from UniChem Limited stated that the construction of the proposed ferric chloride plant is currently underway and its completion is expected by end of 2015, while the production phase is to start by the first quarter in 2016. Since it would be the first plant of its kind producing ferric chloride indigenously in the region, the management is expecting a high-demand from the regional organizations and industrial sectors in Qatar.
Sheikh Jassim Al Thani, Chairman along with Ms. Nivine Abouel Soud, Chief Executive Officer of UniChem Limited were present at this launch.
The later half of the day had experts like Dr. Hassan K Abdulrahim from QEERI - Qatar Foundation, Dr. Ujjal Ghosh from Qatar University and Bill Sun from Kingtank China presenting insights on the use of ferric chloride in the effective treatment of waste water.
A gathering of more than 100 professionals from leading organizations, institutions, municipality and ministry managing the waste water treatment, waste management, and environmental sustainability divisions were present at this half-day event.
The event was organized and hosted by Geneva Services, a leading provider of conferences, trainings and related services in the Middle East market.
