Eight Foot Robot Wows Crowds With Laughter, Tears, Songs and Nifty Footwork
Free Entry to the Consumer Electronics Section to the General Public on Thursday to see HD 3D TV, Xbox 360 Gaming Zone and In-Car Entertainment
Dubai, United Arab Emirates: An eight foot high animatronic robot has descended on GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK to wow the crowds with a uniquely captivating show.
Titan the Robot will be performing his breathtaking act throughout Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) during the region's biggest ICT exhibition. The public will be able to watch the show and check out all the latest products, gadgets and software on Thursday 22 October 2009, as the consumer electronics section of the event will open, free to the general public on the final day.

The Titan Robot thrills the crowd with an exciting mix of heart stopping action and entertainment that makes the show a perfect compliment to GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK. Titan talks, sings, dances and even cries enticing the crowd throughout the show.
"Nobody at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK will have seen anything like Titan the Robot before," said Nik Fielding, the creator of Titan the Robot. "We are delighted to bring our show to Dubai and look forward to adding a totally new element to the show."
The Consumer Electronics section of GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK is located in the new Sheikh Saeed Halls with big name brands including Cisco, Hitachi, Panasonic, Sanyo, Seagate and Verbatim.
Visitors will also be able to experience the world's first Full HD 3D Plasma Home Theatre System from Panasonic, which utilises a 103-inch Plasma HDTV and a Panasonic Blu-ray Disc (BD) player.
Other features include the pulsating In-Car Entertainment Area with the latest stereo sytems and demo cars, as well as the high-energy Xbox 360 Gaming Zone where visitors can play games featuring those which are not yet available in the shops.
