Dubai, 31 August, 2008: The Board of Directors of Tiger Group has announced the beginning of a restructuring process that is intended to streamline and modernize the Group's organizational structure in order to allow it to better cope with the growth of its operations in the UAE and surrounding Arab countries.

The new structure will provide the flexibility that Tiger Group requires to deal with the ever-changing needs associated with its many expanding projects throughout the UAE and the Middle East. It will also enable the Group to meet the requirements of the expansion plans it has set in place, and ensure continued excellent service to its clients.

As part of the reshuffle, a series of new appointments has been made at top management levels across Tiger Group in order to strengthen its core team. New managers have come on board at some Tiger Group subsidiaries to undertake such tasks as supervising and executing the Group's existing and forthcoming projects, and setting up strategic plans for the future. The Group's existing management team has been shifted into a new department - the Facilities Services Department - which will oversee all of the Group's projects and manage all project facilities.

One of the notable results of the organizational restructuring was the promotion of Mohammed Taha from Managing Director to CEO of Tiger Properties, one of the region's most renowned real estate developers and a Tiger Group subsidiary. Taha's 14 years of experience in the regional real estate and construction sectors makes him eminently qualified to hold this position, and Tiger Group plans to draw on his comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regional property and contracting markets to further build Tiger Properties' already impressive reputation.

The organizational restructuring of Tiger Group came about as the result of the Board of Directors' decision to carefully manage the Group's substantial growth by putting in place a management team to oversee its expansion and to help it keep pace with the accelerating pace of its business development. The appointment of numerous highly-qualified personnel who have experience in a number of different areas will serve to further enhance the Group's operation, preparing it for significant expansion and growth, and allowing it to retain its leading position across all levels.
