Dubai - The Himalaya Drug Company (Himalaya), leading India-based multinational in health care and personal care products today announced the launch of first-of-its-kind range of herbal baby care products for consumers in the Middle East region. Himalaya's herbal-based products have been specially formulated to meet the growing requirement for delicate baby care products that help to preserve gentleness of baby skin.
Upbeat about the launch of the baby care products in the region Mr. Shailendra Malhotra, Chief Operating Officer, The Himalaya Drug Company LLC said that the launch of the new baby care products range is aimed at satisfying the growing consumer demand of gentle baby care products that have no side effects.
Said Mr. Malhotra, "After successfully consolidating our skin and hair care brands in the region over the last five years, we conducted an exhaustive market research that indicated the need for baby products that are herbal in nature. The launch of Himalaya baby care product range with natural ingredients such as olives and almonds will fill the void in the market for baby products that are mild, effective and do not have any side effects on babies."

The exclusive herbal range consists of moisturizing baby soap, baby powder, baby lotion, nourishing baby oil, baby cream, gentle baby shampoo and diaper rash cream and is aimed at babies and children under the age of 6 years.

Himalaya baby care product range being rolled out into the market, will initially be available in all leading supermarkets and pharmacies. The products will be initially launched in UAE and Oman and aimed to reach the consumers of all GCC countries by May.
