Jumeirah International introduces the perfect gift to share with loved ones
Jumeirah International, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality group, introduces 'The Culinary World of Jumeirah International' cookery book featuring recipes from the group's restaurants released just in time for the holiday season.
This exciting collaboration showcases recipes and professional cooking tips from more than 50 chefs representing Jumeirah International restaurants, compiled for readers to try at home while entertaining friends and family.
The cookery book provides an introduction to each of the Jumeirah International hotels, highlighting the concept of the restaurants, while offering a behind-the-scenes look at what goes in to the delicious dishes that come out of Jumeirah International restaurant kitchens. The recipes featured cover a cross-section of more than 20 cultures and cuisines, with varying levels of difficulty to prepare.
"From the most intricate and delicate dish served at Al Mahara, the signature restaurant at Burj Al Arab to a simple Fatoush salad served at Al Nafoorah restaurant in Emirates Towers, anyone can recreate our recipes with this wonderful addition to their kitchen," said Willi Elsener, Director of Catering, Restaurants and Bars, Jumeirah International.
"It has taken a year to complete this book -from the selecting and modifying of recipes to developing a style to present the cookery book to seeking out the perfect food photographer for the project, but we are very happy with the result and believe this will be a very popular gift idea this year," said Elsener.
Jumeirah International has produced this book in cooperation with one of Dubai's leading publishers, Motivate Publishing. Working on this publication was a case of symbiotic professionalism according to Ian Fairservice, Managing Partner, Motivate Publishing, "The production of 'The Culinary World of Jumeirah International' was only possible because of a small team of perfectionists dedicated to providing the finest cookery book of its kind."
All recipes featured in the cookbook have been modified to be home kitchen-friendly and accommodate home preparation. Jumeirah International chefs have tested the revised recipes, as have the student chefs in training at The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management.
'The Culinary World of Jumeirah International' cookery book is available from the 'Al Dukan' retail shops located in the Jumeirah International properties as well as Souk Madinat Jumeirah.
