Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide of Daytona Beach, Florida, USA, (Embry-Riddle Worldwide) and Tadreeb, the National Training LLC, an affiliate of the Alfia Offsets company (Alfia), announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding establishing a joint venture to offer aviation certificate safety courses and other aviation certificate training programs.

Saif Al Hajeri, Chairman of Tadreeb and Acting Director of the Offsets Ventures Unit at the UAE Offsets Group, stated: 'We are pleased to join forces with the world leader in aviation education and training. As an initial offering, the partnership will present a general aviation safety course in Abu Dhabi, marketed and administered by Tadreeb and delivered by Embry-Riddle Worldwide. In the long term, discussions are underway to develop a variety of aviation focused training programs to include an aviation safety certificate program."

Dr. Gregory A. Popp, Director of the Center for Professional Education, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide, stated: "On behalf of Embry-Riddle Worldwide and our Chancellor, I want to express our enthusiasm for this cooperative relationship which offers the opportunity for an immediate safety course and the anticipation of a long-term partnership to develop and deliver cutting edge aviation training courses in Abu Dhabi for the Emirates and the Gulf region. We aspire in working with Tadreeb to assist the UAE and others around the Gulf region in advancing flight safety and all aspects of aviation operations."

Mr. Al Hajeri further added: 'We are confident that this new venture will improve and support aviation training and safety in Abu Dhabi and the Emirates."
