The day shined on as Bahrain based renowned perfumers Syed Junaid Alam launched their first-ever shimmer fragrance Fanan at a press conference that was held at Monsoon on 18th March, 20008. The launch was followed by a casual get-together that was attended by a host of local and regional media representatives.
Syed Junaid Alam is one of the first perfumers to ever manufacture a shimmer fragrance after a host of internationally renowned perfume houses that have done so in the past; and is the first ever in the Middle East to introduce such a product.
'The concept behind creating a shimmer fragrance has been on our mind for several years, but the right coordination between the bottle, fragrance and shimmer was created only available just recently- giving birth to Fanan,' explained Mr. Hamad Fuad, Sales & Marketing Director at Syed Junaid Alam.
Fanan (literally meaning 'branches') has been inspired by beauty that branches in all forms. Encased in a custom molded glass bottle with a rustic rose bouquet engraved cap and shoulder, the sparkling Fanan lives up to its name.
The fragrance opens with a fruity combination of mandarin and sweet orange followed by light and airy notes of delightful rose and freesia. An end note of sensuality is pronounced with the spellbinding richness of White Musk.
'Fanan is quite distinct just like other fragrances we manufacture. And the shimmer it contains adds to its uniqueness making it the perfect combination of a fragrance, cosmetic product and an adornment- the perfect accessory for a woman of today,' further added Mr. Fuad .

Speaking on prospective SJA shimmer products Mr. Hamad said, "Further products are inevitable to keep up with market trends and consumer demands and we have already begun discussions and work on new innovations in this product category."
