Speaking on his induction, he said, “I have interacted with Niranjan for over a decade since our first meeting in 2010 to welcome Eros Group to the Superbrand platform. Over the years, my conversations with him have covered a wide range of topics on Branding and the evolving future of communications. He will add a new perspective to the Council and will be a value addition to an already esteemed board. I look forward to our interactions through this council.”

Superbrand with a presence in over 90 countries has continuously promoted discipline in branding and communications. The selection of a Superbrand is done through a rigorous process of voting and research to ensure brands that are voted Superbrands do deliver on Branding integrity and customer delight.

Niranjan Gidwani welcomed his joining the council and said, “It is a great pleasure for me to join the Superbrands council. I have seen the Superbrands platform evolve over the years as more home-grown brands invested in building their brand identity and equity. In 2010, when only less than 30% of the brands were homegrown today over 80% of the brands voted Superbrands are local brands you and I trust and interact with daily. The power of the Superbrand platform, recognizes the changes these brands are bringing in and through the Superbrands seal strengthens their belief to go beyond local boundaries. The new decade is going to bring the new influx of Superbrands as technology and consumer interactions change. It is an exciting time to join the Council and I look forward to interacting with my peers in finding the new decades Superbrands.”
