Sharjah: Souq Al Haraj for Cars, a project by Sharjah Asset Management – an investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, announced the provision of modern technologies in Souq Al Haraj to streamline the operation and detect any violation of non-compliance with the regulations, in a bid to ensure safety, support business and facilitate the services rendered to visitors. The move is aimed at developing all the necessary services for the facility which has gained recognition as an international car dealership destination.
As part of this effort, over 85 CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor the traffic in the marketplace, check the car plate numbers and count the number of visitors. These technologies will help develop the business and provide better services to visitors.
Souq Al Haraj for Cars is a major destination in the region for car buyers and sellers that contribute to supporting this industry and refreshing the economy as a whole. It is part of the Emirate’s strategic plans to establish a destination offering excellent services inclusive of all facilities and services that can help assist car dealers and buyers better.
The technology installed at the dealership will help monitor any violation, such as test driving cars without license plates, and will ensure safety for visitors and dealers.
