Al Noman: Working With Hotel Industry to Provide World-Class Experience to International Tourists

SHARJAH: Al Majaz Premiere Hotel Apartments is a welcome and valuable addition to Sharjah's growing hotel industry, said HE Mohamed Ali Al Noman, Chairman, Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.  This came in his visit today to Al Majaz Premiere Hotel Apartments, the latest hotel property in the Emirate that is set to open its doors to guests next week. 

Al Noman was accompanied by HE Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Director General, Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, and other senior officials from the Authority.   

Al Majaz Premiere Hotel Apartments is a 22-storey deluxe hotel property with a total of 75 apartments of 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom designed with latest in modern amenities and comfort. 

The SCTDA team was received by Al Majaz Premiere management and was briefed about the hotel property and its various features and amenities.  Speaking on the occasion, Al Noman said that with its convenient location and world-class amenities and services, Al Majaz Premiere added value to the Emirate's fast growing hotel industry. 

The SCTDA Chairman said that Sharjah is actively encouraging investments in the hospitality and tourism sector to meet the growing demand from its increasing tourist population. 

He said that the Emirate would in near future see many more such world-class hotels and projects grace its skyline to serve international visitors, in addition to massive ecotourism projects unveiled on the East Coast and Sir Bu Nair Island. He pointed out that most of Sharjah's hotels have been consistently reporting high occupancy.

Al Noman said that the Authority is constantly working and coordinating with the hotel industry in the Emirate to provide the best possible services and world-class amenities to international tourists.  In this respect, he drew attention to various workshops and orientation sessions hosted by the Authority for the benefit of tourism industry personnel.  

"All this is aimed at offering a rich and rewarding Sharjah tourism experience to international visitors," Al Noman said, emphasising that tourism directly contributes to a nation's economy and generates economic opportunities for everyone.   

Located on the northern side of Al Majaz Park overlooking the picturesque Khalid Lagoon and Buheirah Corniche, Al Majaz Premiere boasts an exquisite restaurant serving international cuisine 24 hours a day besides a pool café, swimming pool, fitness centre and business centre.  Besides, its Lagoon Banquet Room can serve up to 80 guests.  Oak Meeting Room can accommodate up to 40 guests. 

All apartments offer a fully-equipped kitchen, living room and individually controlled air-conditioning, safe deposit box, satellite TV and free Wi-fi internet access.
