Dubai – Samsung Gulf Electronics has appointed Osman Albora as Senior Director for the Mobile Division. In his role, Mr. Albora will be responsible for leading Samsung Gulf's Mobile business, which includes the Samsung consumer product portfolio of smartphones, wearables and tablets to meet strategic objectives in the Gulf region.
Mr. Albora said: “It’s an honor to take on this position at such an incredibly exciting time for our brand as our mobile hardware and services continue to open new opportunities for our customers and partners alike. It’s also a dynamic time for our industry as we move into a more connected world that is supported by our local networks and other partners. I will be working with our team at Samsung and our partners to ensure that we continue to remain at forefront of delivering the best possible mobile experience in the region.”

Albora has comprehensive marketing experience spanning multiple industry verticals including consumer, technology, personal care, home care and F&B. Prior to being appointed Head of Department - Mobile division, Albora held leadership positions in several organisations including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola and P&G.
