Amman: In a new achievement, Samsung Electronics Levant launched its fully equipped academy and laboratory for central air conditioning systems at the Engineers Training Center, according to an agreement signed with the Jordanian Engineers Association at the beginning of this year to be an incubator for building and developing capabilities within the central air conditioning sector. This, in turn, is reflected in the development of the sector itself, and on improving customer service.
The Academy will enrich the knowledge and practical experiences of engineers and professionals working in the central air conditioning sector, as well as linking them with the latest technologies and practices related to their field of work. The academy will introduce attendees to the latest models of central air conditioning technologies from Samsung including air-conditioning systems and simulations, and underfloor heating models, as well as those based on the technology of variable gas flow VRF DVMS and energy-saving Inverter technology, through theoretical and practical workshops and training programs.
Samsung will provide support and maintenance services for models of central air conditioning systems that have been provided to the academy, supported by manuals for its components during the period of the agreement. In addition to continuing to provide the academy with a range of the latest Samsung products to improve training programs in a way that keeps pace with developments and ensures that it provides the best training in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.
Commenting on this project, Alaa Yaghi, Manager of Sales and Engineering Support at Central Air Conditioning Division at Samsung Electronics Levant, said: “We are proud to complete this project, which is a result of our strategic partnership with the Jordanian Engineers Association, considered to be the destination to inspire youth to continuous learning and to keep up-to-date on developments in engineering fields, including central air conditioning systems engineering. The launch of the Academy reflects Samsung's continuous efforts to empower youth, and to develop the process of central air conditioning systems as well, which is a vital sector that serves other various sectors, including domestic and commercial."
Yaghi added: “We are always keen in the central air conditioning department at Samsung Electronics Levant to move forward in implementing the terms of our long-term plan on the ground by continuing to establish training and professional centers and academies in cooperation with governmental, educational, and professional institutions, as well as independent centers, to enrich its training content.”
The details of the training programs and courses will be announced soon on the official websites and social media pages of Samsung Levant and the Jordanian Engineers Association.
