Sakhr Software Co., the pioneering Arabic IT company specializing in creating & developing software in the Arab World, has confirmed that it will be participating at GITEX Dubai 2003 side-by-side with its giant international partners, such as Microsoft & Oracle. GITEX is the largest IT exhibition within the region during which Sakhr Software Co. will be unveiling its latest collection of pioneering & innovative e-solutions.
 
With the national security sector in mind, Sakhr Software Co. will be launching its comprehensive security solutions which enable information mining & management in various formats. Sakhr Software will also launch an innovative system for learning portals, the first of its kind in the Arab World, in addition to a complete collection of solutions & programs that deal with e-Government technologies. The company's participation is based on Arabic software using Text To Speech (TTS) & Automated Speech Recognition (ASR), as well as translation & Arabization technologies, all of which take into account the nuances specific to the Arabic language.
 
Sakhr's participation at GITEX this year will also be enriched with specialized seminars, aimed at high-level management, executives & decision makers. These seminars will be dedicated to the specific needs of Arabic management, harmonizing with both local cultures & modern IT innovations, as well as reflecting Sakhr's quarter of a century heritage & the company's recent successful alliances & cooperation with international IT giants.

Sakhr Software Co. will also be showing NasherNet, its bilingual content management system at the Microsoft wing. NasherNet is a web-based content & publishing system, dealing with the full cycle of content management, from content gathering, creating & processing, to the final steps of archiving & publishing via various e-formats. It is worth noting that this system is currently used by many prestigious establishments such as The Executive Office in Dubai. And, for the first time, NasherNet will be exhibiting its seamless, comprehensive integration with Sail Labs Arabic Media Mining & Management solutions for unclassified information sources, including audio & video.
 
At Microsoft's booth, Sakhr will be showing its SET translation system. SET is a comprehensive web-based bilingual machine translation system (Arabic to English & vice versa). The system includes exceptional features such as dictionary management & memory building specific to the needs of organizations. The unique DS, Yellow & White pages Directory Services will also be on view at the Microsoft stand.  These services use Sakhr's Text to Speech (TTS) & Automated Voice Recognition (ASR) technologies, which enable the transformation of any PC saved text to natural male or female voice. The text to speech technology can also read dictated or non-dictated text & includes features such as an editor to build a personal voice dictionary & a corrector of common errors based on Sakhr's proof reader.
 
While at the Oracle wing, Sakhr will be exhibiting the latest edition of the renown Arabic search engine “Idrisi”, the extraordinary Arabic search engine which is built on modern Arabic conjugation rules & which offers search & retrieve capabilities via a simple bilingual interface using web technologies.
 
Sakhr will additionally be showing ArabDox at the Oracle stand. ArabDox is a comprehensive document management solution for unorganized/ uncategorized documents & files. This solution excels in creating & retrieving data bases in Arabic & among its exceptional feature is the complete integration with Arabic language Optical Character Recognition (OCR) & Arabic text search engine technologies, thus enabling content and text search within optically captured traditional documents. Also on view will be Sakhr's corrector which detects & corrects common Arabic language, grammatical & spelling errors, and the international program Ultimus which integrates with Sakhr's Arabic office automation solutions.
 
Sakhr Software Co. will conduct three seminars at the sidelines of GITEX Dubai 2003.
