Over the 2014 first six months, Renault Middle East reports 33% sales increase in the GCC compared with a year ago. On a market up by 8.1%, Renault sold 7,991 new vehicles.
Driven by the outstanding success of affordable SUV Duster, Renault enhance sales in the United Arab Emirates by 41% in Abu Dhabi and 30% in Dubai, on a market up by 11.8%. Renault pillar models range: Duster, Fluence, Safrane, Koleos and electric Twizy keep on spreading brand awareness across the Region.
The French car maker, ranked as first European brand in Saudi Arabia, sold 4,824 vehicles in the Kingdom from January to June, a year-over-year increase of 44%.
In other GCC countries, Renault records striking sales up by 71% in Qatar and up to 22% in Kuwait.
