The Avenues-Bahrain has transformed into a glistening setting this Ramadan through beautiful decorations and glowing ornaments. Further adding to the glimmering atmosphere, a traditional Ramadan tent, situated in between gates 3&4 is the Avenues-Bahrain’s main attraction and offers families and friends the ability to spend quality time with one another, engaging in various activities like decorating pottery, henna, falconry and traditional games all whilst serving Arabic coffee and dates during Iftar time.
The Avenues-Bahrain also offers exquisite dining experience for Iftar and Suhoor through a wide variety of international restaurants with menus that appeal to different tastes. To complement the hospitality spirit, special food carts were allocated to serve traditional dishes to the visitors in the Grand Avenue.
The excitement at The Avenues-Bahrain continues with an indoor market for Abayas, Jalabiyas and accessories and is taking place during the first, second and last weekends of Ramadan. Shoppers can benefit from extended mall working hours from 10 am to 1am.
The Avenues-Bahrain prides itself as a destination with ‘no shortage of entertainment’. In collaboration with the Capital Governante, its Gergaoun celebrations are set to kick off from the 23rd-25th of May. The event will feature a heritage village that will include various activities like traditional ‘frisa’ dance, presence of famous T. V. characters and live on-screen viewing of classic Bahraini shows.
Furthermore, embracing the spirit of giving during the holy month, The Avenues-Bahrain has participated in activities that focus on human values and help spread compassion in society. The Avenues-Bahrain has collaborated the Royal Charity Organization of Bahrain in a large-scale charitable campaign aimed towards supporting the less fortunate who suffer from medical conditions. Visitors are encouraged to donate through phone applications or in cash through electronic screens that were installed at gate 7. Donations will mainly go towards supporting cancer patients, people with special needs as well as providing insulin pumps to diabetic patients.
