The Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek Grabs Two Winning Titles and Two Finalist Titles at the Hotelier Middle East Awards 2009 Ceremony
For the third consecutive year, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek makes it to the top at the Hotelier Middle East Awards, one of the best industry events in the region that recognizes talents from the hospitality industry in the Middle East.
Out of 19 categories, the Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek scores high in 4 different categories and stands out during the Hotelier Middle East Awards ceremony by winning two Top Awards coming in at number one, followed by one Highly Commended award in the top three finalists and one Shortlist award in the top five finalists, in three different categories, amongst all hoteliers in the Middle East region.
Uwe Micheel wins the title of Chef of the Year for reputation and credibility in the industry as well as for his dedication to the hotel and to the culinary scene in Dubai.
Asif Minhas wins the title of IT Person of the Year for his professionalism, great 'Yes I Can' attitude as well as for his pro-activeness in coming up with innovative and cost efficient ideas.
Andreas Flückiger is Highly Commended in the Top Three GMs of the Year for always leading by example, his balanced judgmental attitude and steadfast commitment to his responsibilities.
Chamil Lasantha is a finalist in the Top Five Stewarding Persons of the Year for being an exceptional team player as well as for his ambition and passion for his job and for the hotel.
