15,000 sqm exhibition set for March 9-12, 2009 at Doha Exhibition Centre
Doha, Qatar, November 24, 2008: Qatar will once again host the region's largest Natural Gas industry event, when the 7th Doha Natural Gas Conference & Exhibition (7th DNGCE) takes place from 9-12 March 2009, organiser Qatar Expo has announced.
Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani and in association with Qatar Petroleum, the four-day event features a major exhibition at the Doha Exhibition Centre expected to attract 150+ exhibitors and 10,000 visitors, alongside a strategic conference agenda attracting key decision makers and industry leaders from across the globe to the 7th DNGCE.
DNGCE continues to go from strength to strength. Following the success of the DCNG event in 2007, the 4-day conference and exhibition is guaranteed to be the Gulf's premier and influential Natural Gas meeting place, selling out 15,000 sqm of premium exhibition space to the cream of local, regional and international natural gas companies.
Exhibitors will include the latest technology in Oil & Gas Processing Equipment, top quality LNG / GTL Technology & Equipment, Inspection, Testing and Quality Control Equipment, Drilling & Downhole Technology, Pipeline Engineering, Pump & Compressor Recovery Systems, Exploration & Production Technology, Tank Fabricators, and Seismic & Oceanographic Technology suppliers.
More than 40 renowned experts and corporate executives will be speaking during the 3-day conference at the Sheraton Hotel. The international event will also host guests from around the world who will participate in the workshops and discussions. An estimated 1000 delegates from 31 countries, including the natural gas sector's major producers, customers and senior executives, will converge on Doha to debate, discuss and evaluate energy prospects and challenges at the four-day DNGCE.
One of the key aspects of DNGCE is the opportunity to meet face-to-face with a vast number of companies who support the natural gas industry: Ship, Boat & Vessel Equipment & Services, Submerged Arc Welding Equipment & Supplies, Computer Systems & Data Management systems, Electrical & Lighting Systems, Environmental Control Equipment & Services, Fixed & Floating Offshore Platforms, Instrumentation & Cooling Systems, Material Handling & Services, and Offshore Well Equipment & Services and many others.
"The phenomenal rise in the use of energy is due to the development of many Asian countries and their increasing production, as well as the world population growth The demand for oil and gas continues to grow and needs to be met by increasing the productivity and technology supplies, which are considered the major oil and gas industry challenges" said Waleed Wahba, Acting Director of Exhibitions.
