Emirati Lecturer to speak on various Islamic topics
Sharjah: Prominent Emirati Islamic lecturer Dr. Ahmad Suliman will deliver a religious lecture at Qanat Al Qasba (QAQ) today (Monday) on September 17 as part of the ongoing Al Eman Oasis Islamic Lectures program. The Al Eman Oasis program which has featured a number of famous scholars speaking on different topics this Ramadan is part of the Ramadaniat Al Qasba celebrations organised by QAQ this year.
An element of Al Eman Oasis, the spiritual arm of this year's Ramadan celebrations at QAQ, the series of religious lectures will be delivered by some of the most prominent local and international Muslim scholars and attended by over 800 people everyday.
Dr. Ahmad Suliman will give a lecture titled "Amplify your Eman" today at 10:30 p.m in Al Eman Oasis Tent, located next to Al Qasba Mosque. Dr. Suliman has organized many seminars and lectures about various Islamic and Share'a topics in many mosques around the UAE. He also gave Friday lectures at the University Of Dublin - Trinity College. He is involved in many different social and educational issues.
Al Eman Oasis, which will cater to the spiritual needs of Muslims during this Holy month, will be alive with Islamic oriented activities during Ramadan. Besides the Islamic lectures, exciting competitions with prizes for Muslims and non Muslims, a comprehensive Islamic library to browse through or buy, and wonderful activities for kids will all be featured at the Al Eman Oasis programme. On September 21, Waynne R.Bennett (Huzaifa) from USA will deliver an inspiring talk on "Why Should We Follow Religion", followed by "A Heart to Heart Talk" on September 22.
Canadian Abdullah Hakim Quick, also famous for his inspirational lectures will host a talk on "Islam: The Universal Way of Life" on September 29. "Ramadan the Month of Guidance" will follow on September 30 by the same speaker.
All lectures at the Al Eman Oasis Tent will begin at 10.30pm, where separate seating arrangements have been made for ladies.
