Premier consumer brand recognized for excellence in digital camera, printer and projector categories
Panasonic, leading consumer electronics brand has received prestigious Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) awards for three of its digital imaging products in the digital cameras, printers and projectors categories. TIPA is an independent association of photo and imaging expert editors, representing 12 countries across Europe.
Panasonic's Digital Camera LUMIX DMC-TZ1 received the award for the Best Superzoom Digital Camera, while the Photo Printer KX-PX1/PX10 received recognition for the Best Small Format Photo Printer, and the Digital SD Slide Projector PT-P1SD won in Best Digital Photo Projector category.
"Winning awards in three major categories is an accomplishment that testifies that Panasonic, through its wide portfolio of consumer electronic expertise, is able to propose a total networking solution for digital imaging applications, and is committed to providing superior performance products that enhance consumer lifestyles," said Koji Naka, Product Manager, Panasonic Marketing Middle East..
The DMC-TZ1 features high-powered zoom with dual image stabilization and maximum ISO800 high sensitivity recording capability in full resolution. TIPA's official comment reagarding the Lumix digital camera stated, "The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 is the world's smallest digital still camera with a 10x optical zoom, and Panasonic has equipped the TZ1 with its globally recognised Optical Image Stabiliser feature. O.I.S minimises the jitter from shaky hands that causes many photos to look blurred."
The KX-PX1/PX10 printer is an easy-to-use home printing solution that provides rapid photo-quality prints. TIPA's official comment prior to judgment was, "Panasonic has recognised the convergence of digital imaging and HDTV, and has introduced the first 16:9 format small photo printer. The Panasonic KX-PX1/PX10 series deliver outstanding quality prints and thanks to a new over-coating process performed by the printer, prints can keep their quality for up to 100 years."
The PT-P1SD is the world's smallest and lightest LCD projector featuring direct projection of photo images through a built-in SD Memory Card Slot. TIPA's official comment was, "The Panasonic PT-P1SD projector has all the potential to revive the slideshow evenings of the last century. Three different intervals and seven professional effects including fades, wipes and split-image views are included. Newly taken pictures on SD-card can be instantly viewed, complete with auto-rotation of vertical images."
The prestigious TIPA Awards are considered the European 'Oscar' of the Photo & Imaging Industry. A TIPA award recognizes the winning product for its superiority in quality, performance and value in each classified category.
