MUSCAT: Furthering its digital capabilities, Oman Avenues Mall, the Sultanate’s iconic destination for shopping, dining, and leisure experience, has launched an innovative mobile app for the benefits of its patrons. The app leverages the latest in smartphone technology to curate unique experiences for mall visitors. The milestone strategy prioritises digital touch points aimed at putting the customer at the centre of the retail experience.
Oman Avenues Mall has also introduced Al Saada, an in-mall gift card programme available in digital and printed cards that can be loaded with funds redeemable at participating outlets of Oman Avenues Mall. It can be either digitally purchased using the mobile app or from the customer service desk. The program offers convenience and reliable access for transactions at all mall retail outlets. These gift cards are available in OMR 5, OMR 10 and OMR 20 denominations, redeemable partially or in full. Al Saada gift card’s balance can be viewed under gift card section in the app or by visiting the information desk located at the ground floor of the mall
The new app also features Maxi Club, Oman Avenues Mall’s mobile app-based loyalty program which gives app users the power to make purchases at the mall outlets while accumulating points to unlock rewards at different levels. A maxi point can be earned by spending OMR 5 at the participating outlets of the mall and unlocks a host of rewards called Maxi Rewards including cash redemption rewards through the Al Saada program. Customers can simply click the image of a bill and upload it on the mobile app where a backend validation is carried out and points are credited to the users account to avail Maxi Rewards. Multiple tiers of loyalty levels can be reached in which each tier of offering provides different benefits.
Oman Avenues Mall endeavours to enhance its offerings to Maxi Club Premium tier members by creating a one of a kind luxuriously furnished premium lounge facility called ‘’The Privilege Club“. The proposed Privilege Club adorned with classy decor and amiable ambience will be accessible to the premium members of the Maxi Club. The Privilege Club members will have a exclusive entry and parking facility while visiting the mall including a dedicated lift access from parking to the mall floors. The parking facility which is exclusive to members will also have free car cleaning and valet services as part of the membership benefits.
Launching of the mobile app is one of the many pursuits of Oman Avenues Mall to strengthen connectivity with its valued customers. Whether visitors wants to plan a visit, or browse through all the stores, the mobile app offers information on all the outlets. Along with exploring all the services, customers can also stay up to date with all the latest offers and events through the app. The quick search option allows customers to easily find what they are looking for. Using the app, users can book shop assist to help drop shopping bags to the car or book a taxi.
The app is available for download on Google Play Store for Android users and on the App Store for iOS.

The app is endorsed by two popular and respected patrons, Ms. Fatma Al Nabhani, Oman’s National Tennis player and Mr. Tariq Al Barwani motivational speaker, life coach and information technologist.
COVID-19 protocols
In line with the guidance of Oman’s Supreme Committee, the mall has developed a comprehensive and designated set of protocols to be implemented by shoppers, retailers, employees and all parties related to the mall operations. To safeguard the health and well-being of customers, employees and other visitors, the mall has been equipped with facilities such as state-of-the-art thermal sensor cameras at multiple entry points, dedicated sanitizing crew and automated sanitizer dispensers at various locations.
